Bashing a medical-officer infront of a nurse- was it so necessary?

"If you do this again then I will kick you out from this institution!"- this was the last sentence of the angry Professor. He couldn't check his tears when the frustrated and sad looking medical officer lets say Dr."X" was saying his sad story.

Dr."X" s only fault was he made a few minutes of delay attending one admitted patient in the CCU in past. One concerned nurse bring this matter directly to the cardiology head. And later the Professor charged him and bashed him mercilessly infront of that complaining nurse!

Respected Sir,with all due respect... By no way any other person have the rights to make any comments the way you oversee the administration run under you. No doubt  its entirely upon you and your judgement by which way you will handle and discipline your subordinates. Yet maybe, just maybe, it was little better if you didn't harsh that doctor infront of one third class employee, rather you could tell him it privately.

Over 60 students of Dhaka University (DU) were injured Tuesday following a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) over establishing supremacy in the country's highest public educational institution.

Witnesses and students said two groups of the ruling party's student wing attacked each other with firearms and sharp weapons to take control of Haji Mohammad Mohsin Hall that turned the area into a veritable battlefield in the early hours.

The skirmishes left more than 60 people injured who were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and medical centre of the university.

Of the injured students -- Mahi, Hasan and Ashik -- were moved to the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), popularly known as Pangu Hospital as their conditions were reported to be critical.

Hall sources said the students locked in the clash fired nearly a dozen gun shots and exploded more than 35 handmade bombs during the chase and counter chase, triggering panic among the hall residents.

On information, riot police clad in vests and helmets rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

During a raid at the dormitory, the law enforcers recovered one loaded pistol, sticks and sharp weapons, Officer-in-Charge of Shahbagh Police Station Rezaul Karim said.

Meanwhile, BCL hall unit president Mohammad Ali said some eight BCL activists were expelled from the party for creating anarchy in the hall violating rules.
