Late Prof.Mahbubur Rahman Azad sir, some thoughts (Part two)

Today here in DNMC and DNMCH no teacher will ever say his fellow students "goru" or "gadha" anymore! I'm feeling myself so blessed to be one of his student for many long years. It is quite uncertain how long it may take to find a good teacher and a skilled surgeon like Azad sir. His teaching style was so unique that even the most "fakibaz" type of student also used to do his class regularly in most of the time.

Late Prof.(Dr.) M.R.Azad sir with no apparent good reason chosed this institution for his own treatment possibly from his great affection, love and faith for this institution and those people works here. It has been said that the concerned healthcare professionals did not and could not follow the standard treatment protocol and failed to provide him the best available treatment needed at that very moment to save his life, and he simply died without any treatment/with a poor treatment.

By no way I am in a position to verify this information for its credibility. I just want to believe myself that this merely a rumour, a false assumtion in every means. On the other side, even if there is little truth behing this, someone or something must be responsible for "killing" him. And the "murderers" must be identified and face the judiciary on the ground of professional negligence, if not for a murder charge! They should be exempt from practising this noble profession anymore.

Then the very next step is to correcting the errors withing the whole system, finding the holes and repairing them. Careful "monitoring and evaluation" should be established on a routine basis. The administration must findout the roots of the problems and correct them as soon as possible within a given deadline. Unless we are doing this right now who knows worse may not happen again and again and again!
